POST1 Food Consumption
The broad topic I chose for this assignment is food consumption. The specific topics I chose under this category were gratification and control of hunger (261) OR eating (264). I chose these two subcategories because in my free time I like to cook/bake. It will be very interesting to see the difference in culture between mine and others concerning the foods we eat and the way we control our hunger. I hope to see the differences in the food we eat based off of culture and region. I eat mainly American food with foods mixed in from different cultures but I rarely get to eat genuine native food from other countries. It is also interesting to look into the way other cultures portion their food because in American we eat large portions and often which contributes to our high obesity rate.
